Blog practice

I'm going overseas and might attempt to sometimes keep a blog. It will probably only continue if it seems to prove valuable in the first part of the trip, because I am definitely afflicted by start-and-don't-finish syndrome (I think I caught it in Dubai early in 2009). We're booked to leave on 5 Feb 2010 on a round-the-world ticket to South America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Buenos Aires, south-eastern Brazil), New York, and Europe (London, Spain, perhaps Morocco*, Italy, Austria, Prague, Germany, Paris, and some other stuff we might fit in). We're back in late July, after which things will be less interesting and any subsequent blogging will depend upon whether I think I'm any good at it. So! Keep those complements coming readers (number of readers currently zero of course).
